Abu Dhabi and Azerbaijan discuss bolstering joint investment/ أبوظبي وأذربيجان تبحثان تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثمارات

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Mohamed Helal Al-Muhairi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) and Dashgin Shikarov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the UAE, have met to discuss ways of developing economic cooperation and enhancing joint investments between companies and institutions operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Al-Muhairi reflected on the strong and deep economic and trade cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE in general and Abu Dhabi in particular, which he said can be bolstered further through the introduction of Abu Dhabi businessmen and investors to investment opportunities available in Azerbaijan, especially in areas that the emirate is focusing on in its economic vision such as industry, tourism, health services and education. He also referred to the role of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in providing business services and receiving foreign delegations.

For his part, Shikarov called on companies, businessmen and investors in the UAE to invest in his country, especially in the tourism, infrastructure and transportation sectors, pointing out that a trade delegation from Azerbaijan plans to visit the Abu Dhabi Chamber this December.

وأكد سعادة محمد المهيري قوة وعمق علاقات التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري التي تربط دولة الإمارات عامة وإمارة أبوظبي خاصة مع جمهورية أذربيجان ما يتطلب مضاعفة الجهود لتعريف رجال الأعمال والمستثمرين في الإمارة بالفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة في جمهورية أذربيجان والقطاعات والمجالات التي تتوفر بها ووضع آلية وبذل جهود مشتركة لتعزيز التعاون بين الشركات والمؤسسات في البلدين الصديقين خاصة في المجالات التي تركز عليها أبوظبي في خططها ورؤيتها الاقتصادية مثل قطاعات الصناعة والسياحة والخدمات الصحية والتعليم.. منوها إلى دور غرفة أبوظبي في تقديم خدمات أو تنظيم فعاليات واستقبال وفود.
من جانبه أكد سعادة داشقين شيكاروف عمق العلاقات بين دولة الإمارات وجمهورية أذربيجان .. داعيا الشركات ورجال الأعمال والمستثمرين في الإمارات للاستثمار في بلاده في قطاعات السياحة والبنية التحتية والنقل .. مشيرا إلى رغبة وفد تجاري من أذربيجان في زيارة غرفة أبوظبي خلال شهر ديسمبر من العام الحالي. وام
